The Dremel rotary tool is probably fine for other uses. It is not durable or reliable for luthier purposes or in high dust environments. Problem is the switch cruds up and the tool quits working.
I just trashed the second one purchased. Never again.
So far, the little Milwaukee battery powered high speed tool is holding up just fine although it sounds like a coffee grinder when running. I will let you know how long it lasts.
