Hard shell case included

Tone quality and harmonic response are excellent. This guitar offers nice play feel and perfect intonation. High E action is below 4/64 at the 12th fret and Low E very slightly above.

Neck was reset.

Back was removed, ladder bracing on top was removed, new X-bracing installed.

Back bracing is original, but rounded and sanded smooth.

Bracing is added to the sides. I don’t believe anyone else does this, but it is a mark of my quality workmanship.

I pay attention to small details. Top braces are tapered and sanded smooth. The inside back and sides are cleaned up and sanded smooth. Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth. Harmony production glue globs are chipped out. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved.

Condition

• Top - Excellent. Harmony created the loveliest sunburst guitars way back there in the 69s. In my NSHO, this coloring has rarely been equaled.
• Sides - Excellent - no cracks, very few dings.
• Back - Excellent - no cracks, few dings, several wear marks.
• Gear head face - excellent.
• Gear head back - excellent.
• Neck - excellent.
• Truss rod works.

Please note: many sellers do not accept returns. I do. I am dedicated to customer satisfaction. This is a great guitar you will want to keep and play for years. This is not something I just want to get rid of.

There are some who say that the original ladder bracing sounds better than a re-braced guitar. I think it likely they have never heard one of my guitars, or they have a ladder braced guitar to sell. But there is more to the re-bracing question. To whit:

• Drastically improved top stability under string tension.
• Improved top durability
• Dagummit - way better sound including outstanding harmonic response!
• Removing the back during re-bracing allows best access and repair of all cracks
• Side bracing easily added for better sound and improved playability
• On Harmony Sovereigns especially, removal and replacing of the defective OEM bridge plate
