Re-Topped Martin D-28. Forward shifted 100 degree spruce bracing. AAA grade Sitka top.

Very nice sound with full harmonic overtones as expected with a D-28. .

Neck was reset. Action is 4/64 inch Low-E and High-E.

• Bracing - X-pattern 100 degree forward shifted premium quarter sawn tapered Sitka spruce.
• Bridge - Martin ebony
• Bridge plate - 40 year old quarter sawn Rock Maple
• Saddle - TUSQ, compensated
• Nut - TUSQ
• Bridge Pins - White plastic with black dot
• End pin - White plastic with black dot
• Frets - all new high profile
• Pick guard - black. This is supplied with guitar, but not installed.

OEM Parts

• Neck - Solid Honduras mahogany.
• Back and sides - Solid Brazilian rosewood
• Fret board - Premium Ebony
• Tuners - Original Schaller

Condition

• Top is crack free. Top - New AAA grade Sitka spruce. There is yellowing around the rosette.
• Back - Refinished. There appears to be two cracks in the back, but I can’t find evidence inside.
• Sides - Refinished, with no cracks.
• Gear head and neck are all original and excellent. There was a strap peg which was removed and the hole filled.
