Condition
Top - No marks or scratches
Back and sides - excellent
Nut - The original owner cut the string slots way too far down. To use the original, I had to shim to bring it back up
to a useful height. The shim is Brazilian rosewood, so no need to freak out when thinking about others who used carboard.
It is barely visible.
Frets - original in excellent condition. Almost invisible play wear.
Neck heel has some damage. All stable
The upper sides beneath the heel had some finish damage. This was mostly covered when the neck was replaced, but a little
is peeking out. Any repair would show worse than just leaving it alone.
So, why would you buy this guitar? Tone, structural reliability. Overall, it is in excellent condition, except for the
finish damage near the heel.
No warranty on this one (except for my reset work) because I don’t warranty OEM work.
