1979 Martin D12-28 Re-top (446) - SOLD

Tone quality and harmonic response are excellent even with D’Addario EJ41 extra light gauge strings. Action is slightly over 4/64 inch.

Neck was reset.

Back was removed, ladder bracing on top was removed, new Martin pattern X-bracing installed.

Back bracing is all original.

• Bracing - X-pattern premium quarter sawn tapered Sitka spruce.

• Bridge plate - 40 year old Sugar maple

• End pin - White Galalith
• Pick guard - black, exact match to original.

• Truss Rod - Non-adjustable only. Has 70s style reinforcing rod.
